Cordillera de los Andes

The Cordillera of the Andes mountain range is the second highest in the world, and Chile has got a lot of this mountain range.
The temperature decreases as it rises in altitude. In the highlands, the climate is dry, but not as much as in the desert, because of the Bolivian winter. It is tundra steppe climate. The highest summits presented glaciers (eternal snow).
In this range, we can make a lot of mountaineering sports such as hiking, climbing, boulder, mountain biking on ice, climbing, skiing and snowboarding.
